Answers and translations:

1. пожилому
The elderly gentleman doesn’t like waiting.
2. хорошенькой
He smiles at the cute girl.
3. молодому
I gave the young man a tip.
4. богатой
The rich woman likes looking down on people.
5. таким
She doesn’t trust such men.
6. бедному
The passers-by give the poor person money.
7. стройным
In-shape people don’t have to be on a diet.
стройный can be translated a couple different ways depending on context, but it’s typically used to describe a person who has a strong and fit body – someone who follows a good diet and exercises regularly.
8. ленивому
The teacher is explaining a rule to the lazy student.
9. красивым
I complimented the beautiful girls.
10. старшим
The new suit looks very nice on your older brother.
